Beyonce’s country-inspired album Cowboy Carter has fans buzzing after her GRAMMY wins, but not everyone is feeling the hype. On a recent episode of Obsessed, with Brandon Stewart on Brandon TV, reality TV stars Monique Martin and Kimora Blac didn’t hold back their thoughts on the project—and let’s just say, they weren’t exactly thrilled.

“I don’t like it,” Monique admitted bluntly. However, she quickly clarified that it wasn’t just Cowboy Carter she wasn’t into—she’s not a fan of country music in general. “I’m not a BeyHive, I’m not a Queen Bey, or whatever you call them,” she continued, making it clear that she’s not riding the wave of Beyonce’s latest genre switch.
Kimora Blac echoed Monique’s sentiment, adding, “I agree with you. I’m a Beyonce fan, but that album was kinda a flop.”
Monique took it a step further, revealing that she actively avoids hearing the music whenever possible. “When it comes on while I’m shopping, I literally leave the store because I don’t wanna hear that…Texas song.”
That was Brandon Stewart’s cue to jump in, singing, “This ain’t Texas, ain’t no hold ‘em.”

“Oh, I hate that song,” Monique groaned. “I will put the clothes down and walk out. I love Beyonce, but I’m not with the country.”
Beyonce has yet to respond to the criticism, but you can bet she isn't letting the haters have any attention. Do you think Monique and Kimora are being too harsh, or do they have a point? Let us know your thoughts!
