TikTok stars and sisters Charli D'Amelio and Dixie D'Amelio are getting their own reality show; coming soon to Hulu streaming service.
Yep, you read that right. Social media celebrities Charli and Dixie D'Amelio are getting their own reality show on Hulu. Rumors have been swirling for months as the sisters announced they had a reality show in the works, but were still figuring out details. While many thought the show would air on YouTube, streaming giant Hulu won the bid.
Hulu announced on Friday, Dec. 18 that social media's most famous family right now is getting their own eight episode docu-series that will follow both sisters (Charli, 16, and Dixie, 19) as well as their parents. The D'Amelio Show, as it has been named, will document the family's quick rise to fame while staying true to their values. Although no word on the exact release date, it will definitely air sometime in 2021.
"We are excited to be joining the Hulu family with a unique behind the scenes look into our life," the father Marc D'Amelio said in a statement. "We've always been a very close family, but this experience has brought us even closer and we're really excited to share a glimpse of our lives with the world. Many people create impressions of us based off of short content, a few minutes or even seconds. But now, we're looking forward to sharing a side that you likely don't get to see on our social channels."
