The United States Postal Service (USPS) is paying tribute to the legendary Betty White by featuring her on a commemorative stamp set to be released in 2025. The beloved actress, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 99, will join an illustrious lineup of stamps celebrating influential figures.
In a statement, USPS highlighted White’s remarkable contributions to entertainment and beyond:
“An icon of American television, Betty White (1922–2021) shared her wit and warmth with viewers for seven decades — including roles on The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The comedic actor, who gained younger generations of fans as she entered her 90s, was also revered as a compassionate advocate for animals.”
White’s stamp will be part of a diverse 2025 lineup that includes a “Love” stamp inspired by artist Keith Haring and a Black Heritage stamp honoring musician Allen Toussaint.
“This early glimpse into our 2025 stamp program demonstrates our commitment to providing a diverse range of subjects and designs for both philatelists and stamp enthusiasts,” shared Lisa Bobb-Semple, USPS’s stamp services director.
Fans of Betty White and stamp collectors alike can look forward to this special tribute to an American icon who brought laughter, kindness, and warmth to countless lives. Check out all the stamps here.
