Even with fewer releases, 2018 was still a great year for the music industry! With breakout artists like Camila Cabello, Cardi B, and Ella Mai, there was no shortage of new music.
Now, it’s time to look forward to 2019. Even with expected releases from Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna, there’s a lot of new artists that will be surely sharing the spotlight!
Adrian King
Adrian King is a soulful new artist from Virginia Beach, VA. With a blend of pop and hip-hop sounds with authentic lyrical content, Adrian King is someone to watch. His Spotify streams back that up as well, 100,000 streams from two songs in four months with no record label! That’s impressive and we can’t wait to hear his EP!
Ava Max
Atlantic Records recording artist Ava Max is on the way up! Her single “Sweet But Psycho” is currently at #25 at US Pop Radio and #41 on the Billboard Hot 100. 226 million streams can’t lie! Check out the infectious song on Spotify and follow her on Instagram @avamax!
Ginette Claudette

Hanx
Hanx is one of my favorite new artists because he doesn’t hold anything back. He’s not afraid to go to dark places that other people aren’t with his music. LANY

Matt Maeson
Atlantic Records recording artist Matt Maeson released a new EP last year and sent his single “Cringe” to radio. With an opening spot on Needtobreathe’s acoustic tour, “Cringe” climbing the charts at Alternative radio, and an album coming in 2019, it seems like the sky is the limit for Matt Maeson!! The Bonfyre
HITCO recording artist The Bonfyre released her first EP last year and had a couple singles sent to radio. 2019 seems to be shaping up for her with “Automatic” hitting the top 10 at Urban AC and hopefully more music on the way!! Zhavia Ward
Zhavia Ward had a killer 2018! The urban pop artist went from being a fan favorite on FOX’s The Four to releasing 3 singles of her own. 2019 is starting off quite promising for her as well!
