What better way to kick off award show season than with the legendary Golden Globe Awards? As with any red carpet, some stars looked absolutely flawless while some, to be kind, missed the mark! Let's recap our favorite and least favorite looks from the 2019 Golden Globes:
Best Dressed
Lili Reinhart stunning in a monochromatic red look. Red is always a risky color since it could clash with the carpet and look tacky, but Reinhart looks flawless from head-to-toe in this elegant dress. (Image Sources: Getty / Jon Kopaloff and Adam Breuchaud).
Bradley Cooper & Irina Shayk made a rare appearance on the red carpet tonight, however, they definitely win the Best Dressed Couple award from us! Cooper is wearing all white Gucci as his supermodel girlfriend is wearing Versace, debuting a new sleek bob haircut.
Lady Gaga looking divine in a periwinkle Valentino gown, with matching hair and flashy diamonds. The matching hair is a bit much, but because it is Gaga, I'll let it slide. With all of the incredible attention for A Star is Born, this is basically Gaga's award show.
Julia Roberts in a Stella McCartney piece. There are really no words for this look! Does she ever age!?
In addition, we asked our Twitter followers who they thought nailed "Best Dressed" at the 76th Golden Globes....
Ray (@tristfulcal) gave the award to Cody Fern, star of American Horror Story. We agree!
Jordan (@JordanMason1) couldn't pick just one! She chose Lady Gaga as well as the legendary Regina King in Alberta Ferretti.
Worst Dressed
Elsie Fisher, star of Eighth Grade, is clashing with the red carpet in this velvet Kenzo suit. At only 15 years old, she could have chosen something a lot more fun and flattering!
Kate Mara, we love you, but this missed the mark! It is not flattering on her figure and the hair just does not match the look. One instagram user even used the term "Elf Chic" to describe her look - yikes!
Timothee Chalamet, oh my. I know all you ladies are obsessed with him, but he looks like he is about to go figure skating or skydiving! We appreciate the risk, but it just did not work this time.
