10 Reality Stars We Love to Hate (And Hate to Love)

Reality TV villains; some we love to hate, and some we hate to love! Here's a look at 10 reality stars that are some of the most hated in TV history, yet at the same time, there's something about them that viewers love to watch.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, The Hills

The Hills began with Lauren Conrad living with Heidi Montag, but that didn't last long... Everything took a turn for the worst in their friendship once Montag began dating Spencer Pratt. Pratt never seemed to get along with anyone else in the cast, was unfaithful to Heidi, and drove a wedge between the blonde BFFs. The pair have shopped around reality shows since the ending of The Hills, including stints on: Celebrity Wife Swap, Celebrity Big Brother, and more. With all of the drama, we love to hate this reality show couple, yet we can never get enough!

Omarosa Manigault, The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice

No surprise she is on this list. Potentially the most infamous reality tv star, a TV Guide poll there showed that 50% said Omarosa was the reality star they hate the most. Yikes! She was a difficult team player and rubbed everyone the wrong way. She even sued La'Toya Jackson for saying Omarosa led to her late husband's death on national television. Today, she is known for flip-flopping on her stance on Donald Trump's Presidency.

Jon Gosselin, Jon & Kate Plus 8

Known as the father who often got overwhelmed with 8 kids (can you really blame him?), after the divorce between Jon and Kate, the public chose Kate's side. Jon shed his fatherly image by partying very often and being photographed with younger girls. Ed Hardy even blamed Jon for the decline of his brand, since Jon was always seen wearing it. The father is reportedly working on rebuilding his relationships with his kids, and he shows up in the tabloids every now and then.

Farrah Abraham, Teen Mom

First, we met the teen on 16 and Pregnant followed by Teen Mom. During her time on the show, we saw her dramatic blowouts with her mother, even calling her a "dumb b*tch" on tape. And, of course, there was the sex tape that she purposefully released, along with controversy surrounding photos of her young daughter she posts in tiny bikinis. Not to mention all of her botched plastic surgery. It's the trainwreck you can't look away from!

Abby Lee Miller, Dance Moms

The brutally-tough dance teacher who makes stars! Throwing a chair at a child, making kids cry, fighting with the dance moms themselves... need we say more? But one thing's for sure, we HAD to tune in every week to catch the drama. Plus, fans developed a soft spot after her near-death cancer experience. Thankfully she has recovered and is on the road to recovery.

Jade Cole, America's Next Top Model

"The undiscovered supermodel." The wannabe model walked into the doors of Tyra Banks' hit reality show with a cocky attitude and the belief that she was already a winner. She definitely rubbed contestants and judges the wrong way, but fans ate it up and you couldn't deny her potential. The star was asked back for the all-stars season of the show, but didn't make it to the final cast due to contract conflicts. No one will ever forget her Covergirl commercial she filmed on the show. Check it out below.

Camille Grammer, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH)

(Former) Mrs. Kelsey Grammer - the original mean girl on RHOBH. Although she only spent two seasons as a full-time cast member (the second consisting of her trying to do damage control from the first), she made a huge impact! Flirting with husbands, picking fights over every little thing, and her diva 'holier-than-thou' attitude made her a reality TV villain that we love to hate. But, her divorce from Kelsey that played out on the show did give us a soft spot for the housewife, no matter how small.

Jax Taylor, Vanderpump Rules

Honestly, anyone from this show could have made this list. The whole cast took turns being the villain and there is not one that people undyingly love. However, Jax definitely takes the gold for most hated. It's the same cycle every year - during the reunion, he talks about how he has changed and how he's rehabbing, yet he falls into the same toxic behavior every season. Fortunately, he has now found the love of his life and the couple is expecting a child together soon.

Christine Quinn, Selling Sunset

The newest mean girl to hit the reality TV world is definitely Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn on Netflix. She is one of the best reality stars TV has seen in years. She's intimidatingly beautiful, the Queen Bee, unapologetic, and gives stellar backhanded compliments that scare off the new girls. Yet, there is something strangely likable about her that keeps viewers tuning in.
